This policy explains what we collect when you use KeepsakeVision, including the reference photos you upload, and how that data is used, shared, stored, and deleted.

Account info from Google sign-in (name, email, profile picture). Reference photos and generated portraits you upload or create. Usage data such as credits spent, generation history, and payment records. Basic technical data (IP address, browser type) collected automatically by Cloudflare for security and abuse prevention.
Reference photos you upload contain your face and are used to generate portraits in your likeness. These photos, and the portraits generated from them, are stored in our infrastructure (Cloudflare R2) and linked to your account. We treat facial images as sensitive personal data and only use them to generate the portraits you request. We do not use your photos to train AI models, and we do not sell your photos to third parties.
To generate portraits, your reference photos and prompts are sent to our image generation provider (APIMart), which in turn routes the request to OpenAI's image generation models. These providers process your photos solely to generate the requested image and are bound by their own data handling terms. We use Google for sign-in authentication and Creem for payment processing; Creem receives billing details but not your reference photos. By uploading a reference photo and starting a generation, you consent to this transfer for the purpose of creating your portrait.
We set one strictly necessary cookie (wv_session) to keep you signed in. If you accept analytics cookies in the cookie banner, we also load Google Analytics, which sets its own cookies to measure site usage. If you reject or ignore the banner, analytics cookies are not loaded.
We keep your account, reference photos, and generated portraits for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your reference photos and generated portraits from our storage, and remove your account records, within a reasonable time. Images already delivered to our generation provider may persist on their systems for a short period under their own retention rules, which we do not control.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to withdraw consent for photo processing at any time. You can delete your account and associated photos yourself from Settings, or email feedback@keepsakevision.com to request access, export, or deletion. We will respond within a reasonable time.
KeepsakeVision is not intended for children under 16. If a reference photo includes a child (for example, in a family portrait), only upload it with the consent of a parent or guardian. Do not create an account or upload photos of yourself if you are under 16.
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), HttpOnly session cookies, and access-controlled storage. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of data transmitted to or from the site.
We may update this policy as the product changes. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
